Monica became a Barber/Stylist in 1996 and as a Master Barber and Master Stylist, established Blue's Barbershop and Shave Parlor in 2014 stepping out on her own in 2015 as she noticed a need to close a gap in the workforce for licensed barbers and stylists that bring the new school style with an old school tradition.  Changing her focus, she began Blue's Barbershop and Curly Haven transitioning her services to catering to the curly hair clientele as she saw the need for professionals who are passionate about helping people achieve unspeakable beauty with their natural curls.  She brings a careful touch to a profession as old as time and feels that your stylist is a part of your family and is a place you should enjoy coming to relax and break away from the monotony of your day. Her natural skills with hair and grooming started at a young age and for that reason, will keep you coming back. 

 

She approaches the care of your hair as a calling, a gift. You will also have the added benefit of preparing you to maintain your style by showing you how to achieve it at home and what you could do with product applications and recommendations.
